Schneider Trophy Racer

Another great example of the versatility of “Das Ugly Stik”. The photos amplify the extent of the modifications that can be added to the Ugly Stick. It has been redesigned to resemble a Schneider Trophy racer of the thirties.

Constructed by Fred Baker. It started out as a forty size Ugly stik and was kit bashed by Fred back in 1991. He followed the original Ugly Stik plans to a point. He then altered the original design by following a second set of plans that converted the Ugly Stik to a Schneider Trophy Racer.

Fred has successfully flown the plane over the years at the float fly's. He still has the plane hangered in his work shop.
